Commonly known as Deca-Durabolin™, as the commercial product, which is no longer available, Pavilion Compounding Pharmacy is formulating the injection in compliance with USP <797> sterile compounding regulations. Each batch is sent for sterility testing before being released for dispensing. You can be confident you are receiving a pharmaceutical grade product using only the finest of raw materials and sterile procedures.

Nandrolone decanoate injection is used in HIV patients to stimulate weight gain. Nandrolone is one of the safest and cost effective anabolic steroid in the world and Pavilion compounding Pharmacy is pleased to provide this important therapeutic alternative to our patients. A number of formulations are compounded to provide a customize approach to a bleaching skin care. Most of the formulas contain hydroquinone, a bleaching agent, in concentrations ranging from 2.5% up to 12%. Our Tri-hydro-Ret formulas also contain retinoic acid and triamcinolone or hydrocortisone as the steroid component. Several of our doctors have the above compounded into a cream base, however; our formulas also have a more occlusive option with an ointment.

Many times we get questions from both patients and veterinarians on a better method to dose their cat. At Pavilion Compounding Pharmacy we routinely recommend transdermal drug delivery for those cats difficult to give liquids, pills, or other "home grown" methods. By utilizing this method, we are able to formulate many types of drugs directly into the bloodstream via the skin. We have had excellent feedback from our patients for several drugs, including methimazole, famotidine, several antibiotics, hypertension, and many others.

Often we get requests from both patients and doctors on creative methods to help with dosing medications. Several options exist to help busy parents....Some drugs do well as a topical cream....We have successfully compounded b complex vitamins, pain medications, as well as several anti-nausea compounds. A review of the literature also talks about Strattera™ and other ADHD medications used as a transdermal method of drug delivery.
Other options are suspensions with the child's favorite flavor..some of the flavors we have are marshmellow,cherry,tangerine,tutt-frutti, teaberry,grape,strawberry,chocolate,rasberry, mint,vanilla, and the list goes on. The important point to mention is that each compound can be custom made to enhance the compliance of the patient.
For those really stubborn we can compound into suppositories....not the most favorite, but if a critical medication is needed and this is only way to guarantee therapy, there may not be a better option. Many antibiotics can be used including Zithromax™ or azithromycin, nausea and pain relief.
My point is to not give up on treating your child or perhaps your spouse....Your Pavilion Compounding Pharmacist can suggest alternative methods to give the most positive outcome. Compounding offers a myriad of options and sometimes a little creativity, input from the parents and child, as well as a well made preparation can provide successful therapeutic outcomes.

We have learned that oxsoralen is not available in the commercial market at this time. If you or your doctor are delaying your phototherapy, Pavilion Compounding Pharmacy can help..We have successfully compounded an alternative to Oxsoralen Lotion. The cost is very favorable too compared to the commercial product. We are using the active drug Methoxsalen powder, which makes a superior product to opening commercial capsules.
